Senior Enterprise IT Support Technician (APAC)
Bangalore, India
Based in Bangalore and primarily supporting our users across our India offices, you will be the primary on-site IT presence and a key partner to our broader APAC and global IT teams. You’ll deliver high-touch, in-office support and help ensure every Datadog employee has a smooth, productive experience from day one onward. You’ll bring structured problem-solving to recurring issues, contribute to improving established support standards, and communicate clearly with stakeholders both locally and globally. You should be comfortable operating in a scaling environment where processes are defined globally but may require thoughtful local adaptation. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior technician or a strong L2 technician ready to grow into broader ownership while remaining on an individual contributor path.
At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.
What You’ll Do:
- Own On-Site IT Support: Serve as the primary IT presence in Bangalore, providing walk-up and desk-side support with a proactive, white-glove mindset.
- Manage Tickets And Escalations: Handle ticketing, account administration, and problem escalation while participating in on-call support for urgent issues.
- Improve Operational Standards: Identify trends, apply structured troubleshooting, and contribute to ongoing improvements aligned to established APAC/global support practices.
- Support Conferencing And Unified Communications: Ensure reliable support for conference rooms and common areas, including meeting technology and collaboration tooling.
Document And Enable Users: Create and maintain internal and user-facing documentation and deliver new hire IT orientations on policies, best practices, and core services. - Coordinate Inventory And Vendors: Maintain hardware/software inventory, support lifecycle management, and coordinate with local vendors and internal partners as needed.
Who You Are:
- Customer-First And Calm Under Pressure: You enjoy helping people and can deliver detailed support in a corporate environment, including during high-pressure moments.
- Clear Communicator: You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can coordinate effectively with local stakeholders and remote global teams.
- Hands-On SaaS And Endpoint Admin Experience: You’ve supported common SaaS tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom) and endpoint management tooling (e.g., Jamf).
- Structured, Autonomous Operator: You can prioritize work based on business impact, operate independently as the on-site owner, and escalate thoughtfully when needed.
- Project And Process Contributor: You have experience supporting IT initiatives and improving workflows through documentation and repeatable processes.
- Global Support Exposure: You’re comfortable partnering across time zones and have worked in (or alongside) follow-the-sun support models.
- Long-Term Builder: You’re motivated by mastering your craft and building strong local foundations over time, rather than rapid title progression.
Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

- New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
