What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers including PBPs, People Leadership, and other Senior Leadership at Datadog
  • Evaluate and assign job classifications, salary ranges, and compensation structures based on job responsibilities, market data, and internal equity
  • Assist in the development and delivery of compensation-related communications and trainings
  • Participate in and manage compensation surveys to gather external market data and ensure our compensation remains competitive
  • Partner closely with People Business Partners to provide relevant compensation analyses
  • Ensure that job profiles are up to date, match their appropriate job level,  and are compliant with FLSA requirements

Who You Are:

  • Four years or more of compensation analysis, HR analytics, or related field 
  • Attention to detail and analytically driven
  • Experience leading efforts around market pricing, annual compensation cycles, compensation plan/structure design, and survey submissions
  • A collaborative, strategic thinker with the ability to flex and influence partners with data-driven recommendations
  • Familiar with equity compensation structures  (e.g., RSUs) and other equity offerings
  • The ability to distill large and complex data sets into digestible, relevant points supporting recommendations
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and utilizing appropriate tact and professionalism 
  • Awareness of global compensation principles and regulations
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Experience with Workday and data visualization tools is a plus

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
