The AI platform supports products across organizations such as Bits AI, LLM Observability, Code Gen, Evaluation of Agent, all AI research done by Datadog internal teams as well as by our Cifre PhD student and our future AI lab. In addition, the AI Platform will provide necessary tooling to all data scientists embedded across Datadog teams.
The AI Platform organization has two main objectives: Reduce barriers for data scientists so they can focus fully on building impactful models and products, without needing to create these tools from scratch. Equip Datadog’s engineers with a sandbox for experimenting with AI and machine learning, making it easy to incorporate AI-driven features across Datadog with minimal friction.
As the AI Platform PM, you’ll own the vision, roadmap, and execution of the Datadog AI Platform.You’ll work closely with product and platform teams across Datadog, across the entire product portfolio to identify opportunities to generate customer value by spearheading cutting-edge features.

What You’ll Do:
- Own the end-to-end product management process for the AI Platform within Datadog.
- Work closely with Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product teams to define and grow ML frameworks and ensure they meet performance, security, governance, legal, and scalability standards.
- Partner and collaborate with other platforms to accelerate AI needs across the business
- Ensure governance of data used for model training purposes
- Stay informed about industry trends and continually adopt best practices and innovations
- Define and own interfaces for teams to create and leverage AI services
- Influence decisions by providing technical consultation and direction to stakeholders
- Deliver technical marketing literature to generate awareness and drive adoption of platform features.
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the platform and report on them to business and executive leadership
Who You Are:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager and 2+ years of leading the delivery of AI services in a cross functional environment.
- Proven track record of driving a vision and roadmap for technical platforms
- You are able to drive large-scale initiatives while incrementally delivering value to the business over time.
- You excel at empathizing with customers and engineering needs, understand the end-to-end build/delivery aspects, and are able to drive the right technology investment for a platform
- You are able to bring clarity in a nebulous and constantly changing environment with multiple stakeholders and opinions.
- You possess the ability to gain a deep understanding of the system architecture and design concepts behind complex, enterprise-class software solutions at high transaction volumes.
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
