Datadog is looking for a Director of Demand Generation to help lead our growth marketing efforts, developing and executing data-driven strategies to drive user acquisition, conversion, and revenue growth across all digital paid channels. Leading a team of digital marketers, you’ll oversee the planning, implementation, and optimization of performance marketing campaigns globally across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic, affiliate, and other paid digital channels. Reporting into the Senior Director of Demand Generation, and collaborating closely with senior leadership, field marketing, product marketing, creative, and sales teams, you'll align marketing strategies with business objectives to accelerate Datadog’s success globally. You thrive in analyzing metrics, identifying trends, and optimizing campaigns to achieve aggressive revenue targets.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for paid digital channels to drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth globally
  • Lead and mentor a team of 10+ marketers, setting KPIs and ensuring strong execution
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize based on data insights to maximize ROI
  • Manage and allocate marketing budgets with a focus on efficiency and growth
  • Partner with product, data, and creative teams to refine targeting, messaging, and channel mix across varying markets. 
  • Leverage A/B testing, CRO, and automation tools to scale and improve performance

Who You Are:

  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing marketing teams with empathy, clarity, and a focus on delivering outcomes
  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, user acquisition, and demand generation strategies, with experience in the B2B tech industry
  • Expertise in launching and managing campaigns across multiple channels (social, display, search, web) and ad platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook), as well as experience with tag management, offline conversion tracking, etc. 
  • Strong proficiency in marketing analytics tools as Google Analytics and Tag Manager
  • Familiarity with audience segmentation and the ability to tailor strategies to global audiences is highly preferred
  • Data-driven approach to marketing, with proficiency in reporting, testing, and optimizing KPIs with an eye on conversion rates and revenue growth
