We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing Cloud Security team, one of the fastest-growing areas in Datadog’s portfolio.

Datadog’s Cloud Security product is a high-growth, early-stage area within the company, focused on helping organizations secure their cloud environments through misconfiguration detection, CIEM, and compliance monitoring. As a designer on this team, you'll play a foundational role in shaping a rapidly evolving product with high technical complexity, deep user impact, and strong executive investment.

What You'll Do:

• Lead end-to-end design initiatives across Security, from research and information architecture to prototyping and implementation.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to shape product strategy and drive cohesive, high-quality user experiences.
• Influence core features that cut across Security products such as onboarding, notifications, remediation flows, overview dashboards, and more.
• Participate in pushing the Datadog Security vision forward, helping set long-term direction and ensuring execution aligns with user and business needs.
• Conduct or contribute to user research to inform design decisions and validate assumptions.
• Run design workshops and apply frameworks that drive alignment and clarity around complex, ambiguous challenges.
• Share your expertise and mentor others on design best practices, systems thinking, and storytelling.

Who You Are:

• You have 5+ years of experience designing digital products, with a portfolio demonstrating strong UX craft and ownership over complex, system-driven experiences.
• You’re confident in simplifying technical workflows for users such as developers, SREs, or security teams.
• You bring deep systems thinking and are comfortable designing for highly interconnected platforms.
• You’re skilled with tools like Figma, and you're able to prototype and iterate quickly.
• You communicate clearly and persuasively, adapting your message to different audiences (engineering, PMs, execs).
• You thrive in high-ambiguity environments, actively shaping both the problem and solution spaces.
• You value collaboration and feedback, and you know how to build trust across functions.

Bonus points if you have:

• Designed for technical users (e.g., developers, SREs, security engineers)
• Designing data-heavy products or policy management tools.
• Designed interfaces involving Complex graph visualisations , posture or compliance analysis.
• Experience in Cybersecurity / Cloud Security, or familiarity with CSPM or CIEM platforms.
