The Global Safety & Security Team falls under the Operations Division that runs many day-to-day operational functions that help keep our employees safe, happy and productive. We work closely with leadership and employees to ensure that Datadog continues to scale rapidly, yet smoothly, and remains a fantastic place to work.

We’re seeking an experienced team member to join our growing global team and play a critical role in keeping Datadogs and its assets safe and secure. This position is based in our NYC office and will require domestic and international travel. The role will focus particularly on developing our protective services, headquarters security, incident and crisis management programs.

  • Identify long-term needs in terms of organizational structure, policies/procedures, and capital enhancements. Develop strategic plans to obtain executive approval, define objectives, secure resources, and execute key milestones.
  • Provide assessments and briefings to leadership, ensuring understanding of corrective actions, their impact, and urgency.
  • Facilitate tabletop exercises for regional offices focused on emergency preparedness, crisis management, and resilience.

Who You Are:

  • Skilled in managing all aspects of a physical security program, including but not limited to Executive Protection, Event Security, and Travel Security.
  • Experienced in building and growing regional and global safety and security programs to scale with organizational needs.
