Datadog's Office Operations team collaborates with teams across the organization and hundreds of outside vendors, providing operational support to ensure that Datadog's business continues to grow as rapidly and efficiently as possible. Our Office Operations team plays an instrumental role in retaining our most valuable asset, our people, by ensuring we keep our employees safe, productive, and happy. Our team consists of problem solvers who work hard to keep Datadog scaling smoothly and remains a fantastic place to work.
Datadog is in hyper-growth mode. We're currently looking for a Director of Office Operations to join us in our New York-based headquarters and help us scale our operations and employee experience around the world. You’ll work closely with our VP of Office Operations to ensure all Datadog offices have a fantastic employee experience. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining organizational efficiency and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
This is a five day per week, in-office position.

What You'll Do:
- Lead Office Operations for our growing portfolio of Datadog offices across five continents
- Provide strong, reliable support for operations by helping implement procedures and creating an amazing employee experience
- Develop, coach and empower the leaders who run each office
- Enhance teamwork, productivity, creativity, innovation and career development for all Office Operations team members
- Help to achieve organizational efficiency by nurturing a positive, inclusive work environment
- Regularly travel to all offices to ensure consistency of office experiences and exceptional customer service from the team
- Collaborate with many internal departments to foster strong, productive partnerships
- Partner with our Construction Team to consistently improve our physical office design
- Oversee department budgets, covering everything from repairs, furniture to employee events
- Use data to track and improve OfficeOps performance in all offices
Who You Are:
- Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 10 years of full-time people management experience
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing rapid company growth and developing the teams to support that growth
- Experience with career path development and developing organizational structure
- A true people person with an empathetic and friendly demeanor
- Willing to frequently travel to all offices
- Love problem solving, obsessed with improving workflow and processes
- Have excellent communication skills
- Reputation for implementing pragmatic and common sense solutions
- Able to remain calm and productive under pressure
- Possess excellent time management, prioritization and multitasking skills
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
