The Team

As part of Datadog’s GTM Enablement department, the Technical Solutions (TS) Enablement team helps share knowledge, provide ongoing education, create training materials, and maintain processes for our product experts. Our team supports a top-tier product that truly solves customer problems. We share technical and product expertise with the technical solutions team through demos, e-learning, live trainings, documentation, and ongoing support.

The Opportunity

Datadog continues to grow at a rapid rate and with this exciting growth, our onboarding and ongoing training is also quickly increasing in scale and complexity. This position is responsible for providing onboarding and ongoing enablement training/programs to our TS teams in our EMEA region. We are looking for a structured communicator with a knack for simplifying the complex to develop and deliver the training content, curriculum and programs that enable our technical solutions people to be successful in their jobs. This role plays an essential part in providing a high-energy, engaging and positive environment for our learners.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver live and virtual onboarding and training programs that equip our Technical Solutions teams with the essential knowledge and skills required to be successful in their role
   

• Manage logistical aspects of training delivery including roster management, learner communications, classroom logistics and other on-site event support tasks
   

• Become a technical expert in our products, go-to-market philosophy and industry
   

• Work with subject matter experts to deliver interactive labs during live workshops
   

• Ensure that training content is delivered effectively
   

• Work closely with curriculum managers and program owners to take an active role in the quarterly audit of course content, deliver collected field feedback and ensure content stays relevant and effective.
   

• Maintain regular reporting cadence of attendance, course completion and learner feedback.
   

• Embed with Technical Solutions to empathize with the realities of troubleshooting and demonstrating Datadog products, but be willing to challenge assumptions to help the organization grow
   

• Champion technical solutions / go-to-market enablement programs at Datadog 

Who You Are:

• 3-5 years in learning and development, technical enablement, in a training, or teaching role working with technical concepts 

• Fluency in English

• Demonstrated history of coaching and mentoring colleagues around key role elements 

• Experience presenting day-long or multi-day trainings to groups of 10+ learners

• Project management experience delivering quality product on short timeframes

• Experience developing dynamic and engaging trainings for various audiences

• A self-starter, tech-savvy professional who can easily understand a company’s business requirements and explain Datadog’s value and technical details to C-level executives, a technical guru and everyone in between 

• Outstanding verbal and written communicator: you make the complex simple

• General knowledge of cloud technologies

Bonus Points:

• Fluency in additional languages

• Experience at a high growth Software-as-a-Service or technology company

• Experienced with AWS, Azure or GCP

• Knowledge of DevOps

• Experience enabling support or sales engineers with a structured methodology
