We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to work on some of our most integral products at Datadog such as APM, DBM, and more which provide visibility into customers applications, enabling them to identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize their services.

You’ll work within the product design team and collaborate with other designers to solve mission critical problems, owning the communication of your ideas and design decisions across the team.

  • Collaborate with product managers, and engineers throughout the design process to ensure we build the right product for our customers to succeed.
  • Work with other Designers to create a cohesive design language and contribute to the overall design vision
  • Communicate your design work and the support for your design decisions internally to your product team and the whole company.
  • Develop the expertise in your product area, learning from and collaborating with designers on the team

Who You Are:

  • You have 7+ years of experience in digital product design
  • Your portfolio includes a proven track record of shipping end-to-end design work in SaaS applications
  • You are an excellent visual and written communicator, able to clearly communicate your design work and the support for your design decisions
  • You have experience with advanced prototyping tools (e.g. Principle, Framer, Sketch, Figma, InVision)
  • You understand systems thinking and component-based design patterns
  • You give and receive feedback well, supporting and improving the work of your colleagues as well as your own

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.
