Our Senior Developer Advocates are technical leaders and mentors that anchor our teams. They own projects from beginning to end, facilitating collaboration and enabling Datadog's community to solve real-world problems. As software developers that understand technology, they use their communication skills to engage technical audiences with empathy and credibility. With a focus on modern software delivery practices such as code analysis, continuous integration and deployment, and ensuring software quality, this role will enable our community of developers to use Datadog to build better software.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships that it builds, the creativity it brings to the table, and the collaboration of being together. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our employees can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years experience as a software developer, SRE, or other practitioner, including building and maintaining production systems
  • You have significant experience in software delivery, such as implementing best practices for testing, building and monitoring CI/CD pipelines in one or more tools (e.g. GitHub, GitLab, CircleCI, Buildkite, Azure DevOps), and ensuring code quality
