Area Vice President, West

As an Area Vice President (AVP) on our Commercial Sales team, you will be responsible for managing and directing the Commercial West business. You will provide strategy, mentorship and guidance for Commercial Sales Directors and their teams, ultimately furthering the growth of our organization. You should have a consistent track record of building and developing sales teams. This role impacts one of our largest lines of business in the company, ultimately bringing a proven product to a multi billion dollar market.

What You’ll Do:

  • Forecast performance based on team productivity
  • Foster an inspiring working environment to attract, retain and develop top talent
  • Lead a team of Commercial Sales Directors & Managers 
  • Facilitate the ramp up for all new team members, coaching them to success
  • Develop and monitor effective outbound prospecting strategies to increase customer acquisition
  • Evaluate trends to identify areas for improvement and surface best-practices
  • Provide regular and accurate revenue forecasting to your leadership team
  • Cross-collaborate with stakeholder departments to actualize on go-to-market strategies, develop training curriculum, and meet hiring goals


Who You Are:

  • Experienced in 10+ years of hi-tech, cycle direct sales
  • Able to accurately forecast team performance 
  • Passionate about coaching, mentorship, and team management
  • Proven in overseeing second line managers in all areas of the sales cycle
  • Customer-centric with a strong track record of developing satisfied customers
  • Successful in working cross-functionally, leveraging strong organizational and time management expertise
