GTM Strategy & Operations Senior Associate (EMEA)

Dublin, Ireland

Datadog’s EMEA GTM Strategy and Operations team is a recently created team crossing strategy and operations. Our team drives excellence in day-to-day GTM operations for the region. In addition, we deliver incremental revenue by running ongoing processes that uncover, synthesize, and prioritize improvement opportunities based on analytics that lead to direct insights and actions. We build business cases for EMEA investment and optimize resources during annual planning and as part of our normal course of business. The team collaborates closely with other regions to share learnings and accelerate the global business overall while providing critical input for central GTM HQ to enhance global systems, tools, programs, strategies, and processes to best work within EMEA. We also lead execution of global initiatives within the region where applicable.

As a GTM Strategy and Operations Senior Associate, you will be the business partner of the Sales leadership in helping drive the performance and growth of the region. You will be key to anticipate needs and identify areas for productivity gains. You will help Datadog make data driven decisions, and design and execute on strategic initiatives. The successful candidate should bring natural curiosity and a solution orientation to investigate and address day-to-day issues our sales teams face while strategizing ways to remediate ongoing issues through innovation.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them

What You’ll Do:

  • Set up and own critical operations across the region (e.g. quarterly business reviews, forecasting, pipeline and opportunity management, performance and attainment reporting, sales programs and incentives).
  • Partner with the ecosystem teams (pre/post sales, SDR, marketing, channel) to drive growth.
  • Develop strategic plans for our business and operating divisions, both short-term (<quarterly) and more long-term (12-24 month) - from creating high-level recommendations (e.g. setting activity targets and quota recommendations) to leading new operational initiatives (e.g. defining new business priorities, driving special projects to accelerate revenue, designing dashboards to monitor performance)
  • Generate quantitative analytics and qualitative insights on how to improve the business, while maintaining business effectiveness & efficiency
  • Independently design, launch and lead EMEA transformations programs (in collaboration and alignment with global programs) and deliver improvements to our sales motion and GTM operating model
  • Drive thinking in key business areas as a trusted adviser to leadership.
  • Independently drive and lead reviews of our global key performance metrics with senior go-to-market leaders

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years of experience in GTM Strategy and Operations, consulting, banking, PE, or analytical field, preferably with SaaS experience
  • Strong analytical problem solving abilities: can model any operational question with high attention to detail.
  • Stakeholder management skills: ability to influence leadership and get buy-in.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and flexibility to take on new priorities
  • A curiosity and enjoyment of learning new things and applying your knowledge to lead to improvements and business impact directly
  • Experience with Salesforce and BI Tools (Tableau, Metabase, etc)/SQL or a willingness to learn on the job
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with deadlines
  • BA/BS degree

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.
