Senior Internal Auditor, IT

Datadog's Finance team collaborates with teams across the organization, providing commercial, operational and analytical support to ensure that Datadog's business continues to grow as rapidly and efficiently as possible.

We are looking for a Senior IT Auditor to support Internal Audit SOX testing as well as Internal Audit projects. This position will work closely with the IT Manager, Internal Audit (IA), working across our global organization to identify technology risks and help mitigate those. You will participate in audit and advisory projects within areas such as cybersecurity, enterprise IT, data privacy & governance, finance, financial systems, revenue engineering, sales & operations, and the Datadog product platform.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take ownership of key SOX auditing procedures for automated and IT general controls
  • Assess risks, report on findings, and advise management on control improvements 
  • Partner with business and system owners to ensure controls are being properly designed and thought through when business or organization changes occur 
  • Assist the team in performing our annual enterprise risk assessment and development of the annual audit plan for IT areas
  • Develop relationships with all employee levels across the company, external auditors, and highlight best business and control practices
  • Support the annual ISO internal audit led by the Internal Audit team. Assist in ad-hoc projects as required such as privacy assessments, and other cyber initiatives led by IA

Who You Are:

  • Holder of a BS/BA degree or equivalent experience 
    • Preferred certifications: CISA, CISSP, CCSP, CISM or CIA
  • 2-4 years of experience at minimum in SOX as internal and/or external IT auditor. Ideally you have exposure to information security auditing, such as ISO 27k suite  
  • Experienced with SaaS business applications, and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Well spoken with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong technical and analytical minded. You are passionate and eager to learn, particularly in the information technology sector 
  • Motivated to work in a fast, complex, high-growth environment

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $99,000 - $145,000, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
