Manager 2, Technical Solutions Operations Engineering - Denver

We are seeking an experienced Manager 2, Technical Solutions Operations (TS Ops) to design and oversee the technology systems that enable Technical Solution (TS) to operate efficiently and achieve our strategic goals.  Datadog’s TS team is comprised of 700+ customer-facing technical experts around the world from Sales Engineers, Technical Account Managers to Support Engineers that work with prospects and customers across their journey with Datadog to deliver outstanding customer experiences and drive growth through rapid product adoption.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage, develop, and coach a fast-paced team of TS Ops Engineers to deliver consistently and with high quality
  • Lead by example and ensure your team is set up for success
  • Collaborate with TS leadership, partners and TS Ops leaders to develop and prioritize quarterly OKRs for the TS Ops team
  • Drive efficient prioritization & delivery of operations projects through bi-monthly sprints to further organizational goals and maintain team efficiency
  • Build productive cross-functional working relationships with internal customers and partner teams to identify and resolve challenges
  • Create data-driven solution proposals for more complex challenges and/or macro-level initiatives
  • Be accountable for your team’s performance; partner with upper management to facilitate performance reviews, performance plans, and any employee relations issues for your direct reports
  • Ensure successful training and onboarding of new hires, participate in interviewing as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical operations architecture

Who You Are:

  • Passionate about leading and coaching teams to ensure they are set up for success, with previous experience leading a team
  • 2+ years of experience with multi-channel ticketing systems (i.e. Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud), customer relationship management (CRM) systems (i.e. Salesforce)
  • A critical thinker who defaults to a customer-centric approach, enjoys problem-solving and automating processes
  • Ability to define problems and drive stakeholder alignment for solutions
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a desire for continuous learning
  • Proficient in at least one area of technology/computing, with previous programming experience
  • A thorough and effective communicator who prides yourself on meticulous documentation
  • Experience supporting a global multi-channel Technical Support, Professional Services and/or Sales Engineering team a plus

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $134,000 - $196,000.00, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
