Datadog’s Investor Relations team is a strategic group that reports to the CFO and interacts regularly with the senior executive team. As a publicly traded company (ticker: DDOG), Investor Relations is tasked with the external communication about the company’s financials, metrics, products, and market position to the investment community.

Datadog is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Investor Relations Associate to support Datadog’s Investor Relations program. In this position, you will work closely with executives and teams across the business to craft the long-term value story around our >$20B market cap stock. This person will report to the Head of Investor Relations.

The successful candidate will ideally possess outstanding numerical and communication skills, be comfortable with both Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, have extremely high attention to detail, and will be excited about learning new things in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the Investor Relations team in executing on investor outreach and communications plans
  • Assist in the quarterly reporting process, including the preparation of earnings press releases and other quarterly information disclosures, call scripts, and briefing materials.
  • Assist in organizing and executing investor outreach, including public disclosures, meetings, investor conferences, and other events
  • Assist in preparing materials for conferences and other industry events as well as internal stakeholder meetings
  • Manage relationships and communications with investors and sell side analysts 
  • Analyze and track investment reports and models from sell side analysts
  • Prepare analyses around quarterly outreach processes and the efficacy of various investor outreach efforts
  • Drive transformation projects to improve processes and automate repetitive tasks
  • Participate in finance team meetings and activities
  • Support ad hoc analytical projects from senior management and finance

Who You Are:

  • Strong sense of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and an ability to think creatively and critically
  • Basic understanding of financial analysis of companies and industries, as well as the ability to gain understanding of Datadog’s platform & market
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Willingness to learn and grow as an investor relations professional and a financial analyst
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to go the extra mile 
  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related fields
  • 1-3 years of professional experience, likely as an investment analyst, sell-side associate, or in a corporate finance or consulting role
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Google Workspace equivalents

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $94,000.00 - $125,000.00, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
