Sales enablement is a critical part of the GTM Enablement Team at Datadog. The team drives high-level strategic decision making across go-to-market, leads strategic planning, enables the field and adds operational rigor across the company. Our sales enablement function works across the go-to-market to ensure our company goals are met and our salespeople reach their potential.

Datadog continues to grow at a rapid rate and with this exciting growth, our onboarding and ongoing training is also quickly increasing in scale and complexity. This position is responsible for providing onboarding and ongoing enablement training/programs to all of our global GtM teams. We are looking for a structured communicator with a knack for simplifying the complex to develop and deliver the training content, curriculum and programs that enable our sales people to be successful in their jobs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver live and virtual sales onboarding and training programs that equip sellers with the essential knowledge and skills required to be successful in their role
  • Partner with go-to-market leadership and the regional leadership to define sales curriculum strategy at Datadog 
  • Ensure that training content is delivered effectively 
  • Create and maintain eLearning curriculum learning paths customized for each GTM team and aligned with the appropriate selling motion. Perform quarterly audit of course content. 
  • Maintain regular reporting cadence of certification and course completion rates. Communicate data to sales leadership and greater sales enablement team 
  • Become an expert in our products, go-to-market philosophy and industry
  • Embed with sales to empathize with the realities of selling Datadog, but be willing to challenge assumptions to help the sales organization grow
  • Champion sales / go-to-market enablement programs at Datadog 

 

Who You Are:

  • 3-5 years in learning and development, revenue enablement, in a training, or teaching role (can include non-sales concepts)
  • Demonstrated history of coaching and mentoring colleagues around key role elements 
  • Experience presenting day-long or multi-day trainings to groups of 30+ learners
  • Project management experience delivering quality product on short timeframes
  • High ownership: you won’t be satisfied until every salesperson achieves their potential
  • Experience developing dynamic and engaging trainings for various audiences
  • Outstanding verbal and written communicator: you make the complex simple
  • Team oriented and empathetic: you can work with analysts, engineers, reps, whomever!
  • This role may require up to 50% travel
