Datadog is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow the full-stack team behind our recently launched CI Visibility product, which represents the “shift-left” expansion of the Datadog platform into the software development process. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a first-to-market product aimed at the brand new space of developer visibility tools. You’ll be working closely with product management and the design team to deliver beautiful, snappy and data-heavy web interfaces, while developing and growing a team of talented engineers.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and develop a talented team of backend and frontend engineers, who are responsible for building the product’s web interface (in React) and private and public APIs (in Python/Go).
• Work closely with product management and design teams to create intuitive, powerful and beautiful user workflows that best leverage the vast amount of information available in the product.
• Collaborate with other backend and SDK teams to design and deliver end-to-end features that require coordination between data collection, processing and visualization.
• Contribute to the broader frontend community in the organization by leading cross-product and cross-team initiatives.
• Help develop and grow the team, supporting them in their career development.

Who You Are:

• You have built beautiful, snappy, data-heavy user interfaces powered by fast, scalable and developer-friendly backend APIs.
• You have partnered closely with product management and design teams in the past to set the vision and strategy for your projects.
• You have experience leading hybrid teams, delegating effectively and maintaining a high level of technical and operational excellence.
• You have a track record of motivating teams by setting clear and ambitious goals, and providing the support and coaching required to achieve them
• Experienced in working and communicating effectively in a fast-paced, high growth, distributed organization.
