Field Marketing Manager - SLED

Datadog is looking for a Field Marketing Manager to build, execute and programs, events, and campaigns that drive awareness and lead generation for Datadog in the SLED (State, Local, and Education) market.

What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the field marketing strategy for the State, Local, and Education market 
  • Work closely with SLED East and West sales teams and leadership to understand specific market priorities and inform and shape customer and prospect-facing programs contributing to pipeline and opportunity creation
  • Work with other Marketing teams to build and deliver integrated marketing campaigns designed to generate high-quality leads 
  • Plan and execute trade show booths, networking events, and Datadog hosted events in support of SLED team initiatives
  • Track, measure and communicate program results, and seek to generate new global best practices through experimental efforts
  • Support larger Datadog events such as AWS tradeshows, Datadog’s user conference Dash, roadshows, customer summits, etc.

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing technology to the state, local, and/or education markets
  • Confidence to build successful partnerships with sales teams to craft programs that are results driven in their approach
  • Proven experience in generating high quality-marketing leads that result in pipeline growth 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, technology or another relevant field of study 
  • Willing to travel up to 30%

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $98,000.00 - $131,000.00, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
