Support Operations Engineering Intern

The Support Operations team is the operational backbone of the Global Technical Solutions team. We're responsible for building and maintaining the CX platforms, that include ticketing, chat, and workforce management, as well as providing the right analytics for data-driven decisions. To support this, we're relying on a wide range of skills from project management, to backend and frontend scripting, or data analysis. You’ll be joining a diverse team of traditional and non-traditional backgrounds, working together to optimize strategic processes the right way.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support, maintain, and expand several SaaS platforms (Zendesk, JIRA, etc.) allowing Support Engineering to focus on delivering the best customer experience.
  • Automate tasks (through scripts) to guarantee the scalability of the tooling and workflows in place.
  • Partner with Support Engineering leadership and other various internal teams to implement workflows, from planning to deployment, supporting the growth of Support Engineering.
  • Lead and participate in Support Engineering training sessions for new tools and/or workflows.

Who You Are:

  • You are targeting a 2024 full-time start date
  • You are in the process of receiving/have a degree in CS or Engineering and have previous programming experience
  • A Project Management enthusiast, interested in leading projects from the specifications to the implementation stages.
  • Interested in problem solving and automating processes.
  • A thorough and effective communicator and you pride yourself on your meticulous documentation.
  • Able to work in Datadog’s New York office throughout the internship and after graduation
  • Able to intern for the entirety of the internship from May 30th - Aug 18th, 2023

The reasonably estimated hourly rate for this role at Datadog ranges from $25 to $25 per hour, and may include additional compensation elements. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
