Sales Development Intern

Kick start your sales career as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern. You will join a team focused on generating revenue through pipeline development, fostering relationships, and assessing customer needs to uncover business challenges. You will learn the Datadog customer base, sales process, and product portfolio to cultivate and qualify leads.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and articulate the value behind Datadog’s product portfolio
  • Research prospective companies to build out our account base in Salesforce
  • Participate in key learning opportunities across both the product and sales cycle 
  • Engage in sales training sessions, team meetings, technique building, and professional development 

Who You Are:

  • Motivated by a career in sales
  • Someone with an innate curiosity to learn
  • Have a desire to succeed alongside teammates
  • Proven in your written and verbal communication  
  • Comfortable with being able to learn from rejection
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program as a Junior or Senior (preferably in Sales, Communications, Marketing)

The reasonably estimated hourly rate for this role at Datadog ranges from $20.00 to $20.00 per hour, and may include additional compensation elements. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
