We are looking for an experienced senior leader to oversee the growth of our Commercial Customer Success teams (reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Customer Success), in the APAC region. This leader will build a reliable path towards achieving long-term growth, while rapidly scaling our presence and performance. We are looking for a people leader who can attract and coach exceptional talent, while building a vision and culture for the team. You will play a critical role in hiring, coaching, and supporting our APAC management team.

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Apply direct experience building out regional Customer Success teams within a hyper-growth company
  • Drive optimal team performance: pipelines, forecasts, deal strategy and working with customers to drive adoption of new Datadog features and products 
  • Prioritize talent attraction, retention, and development via a growth mindset
  • Strategically drive the productivity, effectiveness, and scalability of our Customer Success efforts in APAC
  • Collaborate with global peers and regional cross-functional teams to deliver growth in all areas of priority 
  • Anticipate and address problems and opportunities proactively
  • Balance autonomy with effective communication harmoniously, focusing on circulating the right information, at the right time, to the right people 

Who You Are:

  • Experienced with 8+ years in a customer success, account management, or relationship management function.
  • Someone with 5+ years of people management experience in the B2B tech space or with subscription based software, preferred
  • Able to negotiate contract terms and overcome pricing objections for Renewal/Upsell opportunities
  • Confident in managing multiple people/accounts/priorities at a time
  • Skilled in your organization, communication, time-management, and attention to detail
