Accounts Payable Analyst

Datadog is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst to become an essential part of a company’s rapidly growing team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Lead, this individual will be responsible for processing domestic and international vendor invoices and payments and working with our procurement team to develop purchasing best practices. This role will own the Accounts Payable processes for our business ensuring that invoices are processed and paid according to AP policies/controls and that any problems or questions relating to accounts payable are resolved or answered efficiently.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Process, code, and ensure accuracy and completeness of invoices in a timely manner in Coupa
  • Review GL coding of invoices to ensure expenses are coded in accordance with GAAP
  • Assist with 1099 reporting and maintenance of W-9 forms
  • Work closely with vendors/suppliers and internal departments to resolve any payment issues
  • Reconcile and/or analyze vendor accounts/statements
  • Approve new vendor profiles as needed in Coupa and verify banking information submitted in Coupa for new vendors
  • Review employee expense reports ensuring they adhere to the company expense policy

 Who You Are:

  • Experienced in a minimum of 2 years in accounts payable work and hold a Bachelor’s degree
  • Someone with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Strongly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Data-driven and analytical with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Someone who demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiar with Coupa, Netsuite, and Expensify is a plus

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $65,000 - $85,000, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
