The Team:

Datadog’s EMEA GTM Strategy and Operations team is a recently created team crossing strategy and operations. Our team drives excellence in day-to-day GTM operations for the region. In addition, we deliver incremental revenue by running ongoing processes that uncover, synthesize, and prioritize improvement opportunities based on analytics that lead to direct insights and actions. We build business cases for EMEA investment and optimize resources during annual planning and as part of our normal course of business. The team collaborates closely with other regions to share learnings and accelerate the global business overall while providing critical input for central GTM HQ to enhance global systems, tools, programs, strategies, and processes to best work within EMEA. We also lead execution of global initiatives within the region where applicable.

The Opportunity:

As a GTM Strategy and Operations Associate, you will help us scale key GTM processes, drive adoption and improvements of global processes, collaborate with sales to increase revenue, and deliver day-to-day operational excellence. Expect to learn new things constantly while working cross-functionally with multiple global departments to maximize efficiency and capture growth opportunities through data analysis and discussions with sales leadership. You will help us accelerate the business and improve GTM productivity by owning critical operations across the region (e.g., ROE, forecasting, pipeline and opportunity management, account assignment/planning/transitions, territory design, quota management, customer segmentation, lead routing). The successful candidate should bring natural curiosity and a solution orientation to investigate and address day-to-day issues our sales teams face while strategizing ways to remediate ongoing issues through innovation.

You Will:

  • Provide analysis, reports, and recommendations about rep and team performance to support business decisions and identify areas for improvement
  • Work with sales to drive their understanding and adoption of key processes while making them more productive
  • Execute opportunity and territory management, lead & account assignments, reporting & dashboards, rules of engagement, and more
  • Help us make business improvements and decisions through analysis
  • Contribute ideas for process improvement observed in your day to day
  • Foster strong relationships with regional and global cross-functional partners to improve strategy and operations for EMEA while also giving back improvement ideas to other regions

You bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in GTM Strategy and Operations, consulting, banking, PE, or analytical field, preferably with SaaS experience
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to overcome obstacles
  • Ability to generate analytics and qualitative insights on how to improve the business, while maintaining business effectiveness & efficiency
  • Organizational skills and a results-orientation with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfort with ambiguity and flexibility to take on new priorities
  • A curiosity and enjoyment of learning new things and applying your knowledge to lead to improvements and business impact directly
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal
  • Experience with Salesforce and BI Tools (Tableau, Metabase, etc)/SQL or a willingness to learn on the job
  • Excitement about collaborating with others to solve problems
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with deadlines
  • BA/BS degree
